    Eurpean motorcycle road racing anyone?

The Isle of Mann TT 2020 was canceled this year because of the Covid. I hope to travel there or one of the other road circuits one year to witness them in person, it amazes me how fast these riders go around these road circuits! Some of my favorites have been killed in these races, unfortunately.

My younger brother used to ride in cross country ( off road ) racing the the late 60s and early 70s.

I live on the Isle of Man and even though I'm not a big Bike fan, it freaks me out how quick they go. My house is 5 minutes walk from one of the quickest parts of the course and the Grandstand adn I love to watch, I missed it this year. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Even though we are Covid free at the minute, there are talks of the TT not happening again next year!!

Interesting thing, they did allow the Tour de France bicycle race this year.

Yeah I watched that on TV, quite like that too, and there was definitely a lack of Social Distancing with the crowd, particularly on the Mountain stages, it was mad to watch

Wow, that must be a treat to watch! Watching it on video is one thing, but to watch in person, I know there is no comparison. I love the sound of those Norton's that fly by at about 150+. I know they dealt with weather issues last year and it was nice to see John Mcquinness racing for Norton as well, what a nice looking bike. I'm sure it's interesting to live on the Isle, daveyball.

In my younger days we had a big water shed being planned in wake county (Falls Lake) they were taking all the trees out, the roads going to the riverbed were steep and curvy, made a great place for later night cafe racing. We topped out our H360t's at 130mph on those roads ..really got the blood pumping .
