whatsapp... is it useful for techs???

I had an employer that made us use whatsapp for all manner of communications...
    that was their filing system...
    I found the following drawbacks...
    1. it consumes massive amount of memory
    2. and its a fight to get the amount of data under control
    3. I have to delete its data on a regular basis

Before I right this app that has a webapp and a pc app I am checking if there is any practical way to use this app for business purposes or if I am on the money

I do this stuff on the weekends too

I believe that Telegram is better for communication. This tool saves images to server and you don't need to save them on your device.
In general I hate messaging apps, I don't want to be bothered after work hours even when I'm on vacation.

The spammers always find a way to get their slimy little tentacles into a thread. Get lost.

Why can't we get a f'n moderator on this site? It's ridiculous.

It beats having a service controller phoning me every 5 min... We use it more to check how far a tech is with calls and to add calls that comes in. Also have a separate group for helping each other out with issues. Customers are strictly prohibited from having the techs personal numbers. But we do have a channel to log calls on. Its a great tool to get samples posted of defective prints or even video content before we go out. Don't see how storage is a problem on the modern devises.

All in all I find it very useful.
          Whatever

It's not your fault, bro. The spam is getting bad again.
