      • Overall, we rate One America News Questionable based on far-right bias, lack of sourcing, promotion of conspiracy theories, and propaganda, as well as numerous failed fact checks. OAN is not a credible news source.

        Let's go with liberal CNN:

US inflation accelerated in August for the second-straight month, pushed up by rising gas prices. However, core inflation, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, continued to slow, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released Wednesday.
        Questions?

          No questions, just a statement.
It's much better when ALL of the information is included. You see, all the people relying on OAN for their information wouldn't understand that core inflation is declining.
          Thanks for posting that

Now I have a question for you. Is there any other items that you'd like to strip out of the Inflation Index that you don't like?

Maybe you don't buy gasoline and food but most folks do.

Also, you're the same guy that thought Inflation was transitory, no?

As of this AM, the global price for oil has crossed $90.00 a barrel for the first time since Nov 2022 driven upwards by the war in Ukraine and planned production cuts by Saudi Arabia to force the price of oil higher.

The USA does not control the price of oil and like all nations has to endure any price increases.

Unfortunately, global oil consumption is at the highest level ever putting more upwards pressure on the price at the pumps.

Common sense tells me that increasing oil production would be wise. Instead, Biden's war on oil has ramped up.

Now, He's Cracking Down on Drilling. In the months since the president allowed the Willow project in Alaska, his administration has curtailed fossil fuel activities on millions of acres of public land and in federal waters

You are confused again. I didn't strip anything out of the inflation index. It was in the great article you posted. Thanks again.

You obviously need to read it again because they stripped out gasoline to prop up Uncle Joe. It is CNN after all. If that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, more power to you.

Lastly, after repeatedly claiming that inflation was transitory, you don't have the best track record on this matter.

And for the record, democrats number 1 goal is to make sure oil prices remain high in order to boost EV sales. Would you like the quote by Obama? I have it on standby.

Sorry dude, it's always done that way. Nothing to do with making joe look better.
And inflation is transitory. It was up to 9% and now it's at 3.7%. It's "transitioning" lower.

As long as you feel good about it that's all that counts. The people must be stupid because they think the Uncle Joe's economy sucks. I'm not talking out of school...all the polls show exactly that.

PS - You also felt good about Joe's withdrawal from Afghanistan. I rest my case.

                              lasting only a short time

We're near the end of Biden's 1st term.
