He certainly whines a lot about not getting more money from the govenment. Maybe he should have worked harder when he was young.

Yup, but you are talking about percentages. 10% of $40000 is not even close to 10% of $40m
So, let's talk about the amount of money taken out of government coffers by giving the ultra wealthy tax breaks.
$4000 from the first person. $4,000,000 from the second.

If they have never paid into Social Security then they should not get any payments from it.

When you are living on a fixed income that can hurt you rather severely.
SSI is money that seniors have paid into the system with the promise that it'll be there when you turn 65.
The coffers are running dry due to congress robbing it to pay those who refuse to work even tho they are able to.

Not that but this year's SSI COLA, Cost Of Living Allowance, is 5.9%. But Medicare Part B premium increased 14.5%, That $144.00 back that the insurance companies were quoting during the open enrollment period were from 2 years ago. In addition inflation is between 6.8% and 7.0%. Senior citizens are falling farther and farther behind every month and the Democrat Party doesn't give a flying fart.

The Democrat Party is almost dead. Either that or many Democrats are afraid to admit it.

Blame the radical elements in the party.
JFK wouldn't recognize his party now.

But I thought they were the party of inclusion and diversity?
That is if you are a member of some faction group.
