We do need unity and it starts with the bat-shit crazy liberals.
Trump's speech about fighting like hell was metaphorical and he did not call for any violence. Liberals need to stop dividing the country over their hatred of Trump.
The same could be said for the Reps and their blind devotion to Trump.
The thing that I often find with liberals is that they get attached to a vision and forget to look at the empirical evidence. Here's a few examples:
1. The states that don't have a mask mandate fare about as well as those that do. In some cases better.
2. When Trump was running for president, all the liberal economists predicted doom for the USA economy. The empirical evidence is in. Under Trump's economic policies, unemployment dropped to numbers we haven't seen in decades. That includes blacks and Hispanics.
3. Liberals predicted Trump's national defense policy would get us into a nuclear war with N. Korea or some other rouge nation. The opposite happened as Trump defeated ISIS and brokered historic peace deals between Israel and countries that historically wouldn't recognize their existence.
Socialism sounds like a good idea but empirical evidence suggests otherwise.
Edit: Liberals believe in "Centralized Planning." They think that they have all the knowledge and they surround themselves with experts in every field. They think that they have all the knowledge...now they just need all the power. But the problem is none of them could run GM, Ford or Microsoft.
History says that people fare far better when you take the power away from the "central planners" and give it back to the people.

And conservatives put all their faith in "trickle down economics" with zero proof that it works for anyone but the rich.

You don't have to look for the bogieman to find the reason for income equality. You're never gonna be as rich as Bill Gates and confiscating money (via taxes) from the rich is never gonna deliver the poor from being poor. I know liberals are in love with this concept but this isn't a new idea. It fact it's a very, very old idea that has been repackaged by the dems as being "new".
You know what one of the oldest things in the world is? Calling something that is old new.

And how exactly does lowering the taxes on these same rich people help anyone? I'm all ears to hear the answer. And since all of us adults know that " trickle down economics" doesn't work, please don't attempt to convince us that it does.

Like I said, most liberals are in love with a "vision". You ask how lowering taxes helps the poor? If you want an honest answer, look at what happened to the income of blacks and Hispanics under Trump.

Let me ask you this? Why do you think blacks did so well economically under Trump? There must be a reason. I'm willing to listen.[/QUOTE
Ummm, you didn't answer my question
This is very simple. When you lower taxes AND cut burdensome government regulations it frees up companies to grow or create new companies. As unemployment is driven down, there are less workers that are looking for a job thus companies have to pay more because of competition in the labor market for workers.
