In direct response to Georgia's new voting laws that disproportionately make it more difficult for people of color to vote, Major League Baseball has decided to move it's All Star Game from Atlanta to a not yet disclosed location.

The Atlanta Braves, Atlanta's Mayor and Stacey Abrams expressed disappointment over this move as it will reduce economic opportunities to some of its citizens.

Abrams said the Republican state legislators who passed the bill did so knowing the economic risks to Georgia.

"They prioritized making it harder for people of color to vote over the economic well-being of all Georgians," she wrote in the statement.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms wrote that the actions of elected leaders have consequences.

Pressure from Abrams and Biden? More politics.

This sounds about right. Today a man rammed his truck into the barrier surrounding the Capital Building, killing a police officer. Joe Biden referred to the past attack on the capital building making it should like it was a Trump supporter. Disgraceful. Then there's the truth.
