Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill

Biden so loves our enemy China he is willing to use some of their Signature Programs! He wants the US to be like China!

After 4 Years of Trump's Sharp Leadership Against China, Biden Takes America on a U-Turn to Copy Their Signature Program

When millions of Americans pulled the lever on former President Donald Trump on Nov. 3, 2020, many shared a well-founded concern that a deviation from his policies regarding China would empower the rising global superpower in its quest for dominance.
The Biden administration has done little to quell these fears.
While Secretary of State Antony Blinken has managed to muster up some firm rhetoric for China, including criticism of its human rights abuses in the Xinjiang province, this has only been met with a public tongue-lashing from Beijing’s diplomats.

It’s not controversial to imply that China is bent on global domination — the nation is quite open about it. And one of the clearest manners in which the Chinese Communist Party has laid out its plan to surpass the U.S. on the world stage is through its “Belt and Road Initiative.”
The BRI is an infrastructure plan which has, since its inception in 2013, invested trillions of dollars into projects in Asia, Africa and Europe in an effort to create the “new Silk Road” of global trade. China is also expanding its interests in a similar fashion in Latin America.

Over 100 countries have signed agreements with China to cooperate with some 2,600 BRI infrastructure projects to the tune of $3.7 trillion, according to Reuters. Many of these nations, however, are financially unstable, as an Op-Ed in The Washington Post noted in 2018.
In short, the BRI involves lending money to nations that can’t necessarily afford to pay the funds back.

This is the CCP we’re talking about, so you can certainly use your imagination as to what kind of power this thuggish regime gains for itself over the nations that have found themselves now heavily indebted to China.
While the Trump administration engaged in a trade war with China, the BRI was kicked into high gear and Beijing set about buying up ports with the hope of stationing its already massive navy in more international ports to gain influence.

Now, you’d think that whoever was in charge of the current biggest global superpower and the nation China openly aspires to surpass — the United States — would be seriously examining how to best curb an agenda for economic influence the likes of which has never before been seen in world history … right?
Trump was quite vocal about his intentions to hold China accountable for the trade practices that were giving the nation an unfair advantage over U.S. markets at the very least.
Yet in a stunning U-turn on our nation’s quest to protect its own interests and check China’s gangster diplomacy, President Joe Biden wants not to combat the BRI … but to emulate it.

      Yes, seriously.
The president told reporters this week that, when speaking with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson, he shared his vision for democratic nations to just go ahead and develop their own economic plan to compete with the BRI, Reuters reported.

“I suggested we should have, essentially, a similar initiative, pulling from the democratic states, helping those communities around the world that, in fact, need help,” Biden said.
So, he’s essentially planning on fighting communist globalism with neoliberal nation-building as China continues to ruthlessly and openly expand its tendrils around the globe, something which has contributed toward the realization of its naval ambitions to the point of providing it a foothold in our own backyard.

The scary thing is, it’s not even clear if American rival ventures to BRI projects could compete.
Reuters noted that while Washington has vocalized concerns and sought investments in the private sector to counter China’s, the U.S. “has yet to be able to convince countries that it can offer an alternative to the state-backed economic vision put forward by Beijing under BRI.”
Beijing is undeniably seeking to topple us on the world stage, something which Biden himself recently admitted in no unclear terms.
“They have an overall goal to become the leading country in the world, the wealthiest country in the world, and the most powerful country in the world. That’s not gonna happen on my watch,” the president said during his first solo news conference on Thursday.
Easy enough to say, yet the best his administration can come up with to address China’s goal is to attempt its own weak imitation of the infrastructure blueprint for global domination.

Pete Buttboi Biden's Secretary of Transportation caught in a lie.

Pete Buttigieg caught unloading bike from SUV before riding to Cabinet meeting in apparent botched environmentalist photo-op

It's all for SHOW!posted by WFMZ-TV clearly shows security personnel unloading the bike off a bike rack situated on the back of the SUV. After that, the former Democratic presidential candidate mounts the bike and appears to wait until several security agents' SUVs are ready to escort him. Then he takes off with the vehicles following closely behind.

Buttigieg's clothing appeared to match what he was seen wearing at the White House meeting, according to a photo posted on President Joe Biden's Twitter account on Thursday.

The clothing also matched another video claiming to capture the Transportation Secretary leaving the White House after the meeting, once again, on bike. That video was posted by SCOTUS Blog staffer Katie Barlow.

                      https://twitter.com/i/status/1377757687954423808

One commenter on Twitter, whose posting of the video has attracted more than 1 million views, characterized the scene as "Pete Buttigieg's dog and pony show."
"Use an armored Suburban to bring a bike within a short distance of the destination. Unload it and ride in with a security detail in tow, pretending to save energy," the commenter added.
TheBlaze has reached out to Buttigieg's office for comment but has not yet received a reply.
It's not the first time that Buttigieg has chosen to ride a bike through the District. In February, he and other Cabinet members were reportedly filmed cycling through the Navy Yard.
The secretary raised eyebrows this week after suggesting that Americans ought to be taxed for every mile they drive as a possible way to fund the administration's multitrillion dollar infrastructure plan.
The plan, unveiled this week, reserves the bulk of its supposed "infrastructure" spending for progressive initiatives such as combatting climate change and providing free community college.

More smoke n mirrors from the Biden Admin....

Delta CEO Opposes Georgia's Voter ID Law, But ID Is Required to Board Airplanes

The CEO of Delta Air Lines came out swinging on Wednesday against Georgia’s allegedly racist new election security law, but neglected to mention that his airline has never once fought the federal government with regard to requiring that his airline’s passengers prove their identities.
Under federal regulations, you can’t get on a Delta flight — or any flight — without proper identification. Delta CEO Ed Bastian didn’t mention that when he issued a memo involving his company in the left’s racially charged identity politics to attack Georgians.
Bastian simply spewed nonsense, repeating Democratic Party talking points with regard to claiming that the idea that voters ought to prove they are who they say they are is essentially an act of racist voter suppression.

“Last week, the Georgia legislature passed a sweeping voting reform act that could make it harder for many Georgians, particularly those in our Black and Brown communities, to exercise their right to vote,” Bastian wrote in a memo to his employees, CNBC reported.
“Since the bill’s inception, Delta joined other major Atlanta corporations to work closely with elected officials from both parties, to try and remove some of the most egregious measures from the bill,” Bastian continued. “We had some success in eliminating the most suppressive tactics that some had proposed.

“However, I need to make it crystal clear that the final bill is unacceptable and does not match Delta’s values.”
The apparently “woke” CEO just had to let the world know that a company, which is tasked simply with getting passengers safely from point A to point B, isn’t pleased with how Georgia intends to secure its elections.

Bastian then called critics of the state’s 2020 Swiss-cheese voting procedures liars.
“The entire rationale for this bill was based on a lie: that there was widespread voter fraud in Georgia in the 2020 elections. This is simply not true … Unfortunately, that excuse is being used in states across the nation that are attempting to pass similar legislation to restrict voting rights,” he added
Here’s an interesting fact: You can’t fly Delta without an ID, which apparently makes Bastian both a hypocrite and a racist. So, why hasn’t Bastian issued a work stoppage until the Transportation Security Administration abolishes its obviously racist identification requirements?
The Democratic Party has attempted to convince the national public for years that minority Americans are not smart or capable enough to obtain state-issued identification. That’s actually pretty racist. If that were true, then logic would tell us Democrats also believe that minority Americans, and black Americans in particular, are not intelligent enough to qualify for air travel.
But none of this is about racism, as Bastian would like us to believe. It’s about leaving our elections vulnerable to malfeasance. It’s about leftist corporate America sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong. Shut up and fly.

What is in Georgia’s election security law? It’s very simple, actually.
S.B. 202, also called the Election Integrity Act, requires all voters provide a driver’s license or other state ID to request and then submit an absentee ballot. Additionally, the bill aims to ensure that ballot drop boxes are secure and continues to ensure that voters must present proper identification when casting a ballot in person.

What is so racist about that? Absolutely nothing. But it does ensure elections are more secure, which is why the left hates it and will shriek over its alleged prejudice.
Bastian’s stance backfired after Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp hit back with a statement of his own, pointing out Delta’s essential hypocrisy, both during the law’s development and in its own business practices.

“At no point did Delta share any opposition to expanding early voting, strengthening voter ID measures, increasing the use of secure drop boxes statewide, and making it easier for local election officials to administer elections — which is exactly what this bill does,” Kemp said in the statement.
“The last time I flew Delta, I had to present my photo ID. Today’s statement by Delta CEO Ed Bastian stands in stark contrast to our conversations with the company, ignores the content of the new law, and unfortunately continues to spread the same false attacks being repeated by partisan activists.”
Bastian is a very hollow and transparent man, based on reading his absurd and whitewashed corporate statement. Unless the Delta CEO takes his identification fight to the federal government, he should be considered a corporate hypocrite — until proven otherwise.
In the meantime, prospective Delta passengers should alternate means of travel whenever possible: Another airline possibly, or traveling on the ground. Taking a personal vehicle has its benefits, too, even if takes a day or two longer than a plane trip.
It’s a beautiful country out there.

                                #WeNeedVoterIDNow

This is only my opinion but I believe it to be the truth.

The reason Coca Cola, Delta and other corporations are going along with this bullshit is because they're scared. Liberals have assembled a large and powerful network of cancel culture and we've all seen the effects. They have taken down some powerful companies and people.

The favorite weapon of choice for this group is BLACK people.

Until someone stands up and is willing to tell the truth, despite being called a racist by many, the problem is never gonna go away. And it starts with us. We need to boycott the companies that bow to the cancel culture. If we don't, we're not gonna have a country left. At least not one that we want to live in.
Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.
