Here's where I fear the USA is headed. As the government finds more ways to spend our money, the more taxes will be raised on the "wealthy" to the point that they'll start raising taxes on the middle class and tag them as "rich".

In the USA, "Build Back Better" or the "Great Reset" is going to be funded by increasing taxes on corporations from a too low 21% to 28%. The tax rate was 35% under President Obama. Further revenues will be found by closing tax havens enjoyed by the rich and ending subsidies for fossil fuels. All of these infrastructure improvements are incredibly popular to the average American.

President Biden has a once in a generation opportunity to improve the lives of ordinary citizens by forcing all corporations to pay their fair share of taxes. No longer will huge corporations pay $0.00 in taxes.

So they will raise taxes and magically produce better paid cleaner jobs for unemployed people, is this not a pipe dream?

I am in sales and see the glass as half full. There will be great opportunities with all of the new tax revenue.

One thing is for sure in the USA, taxes are historically too low. These low tax rates only benefit the rich.

President Biden has stated that taxpayers/ families who earn less than $400,000 per year will see no increase in taxes.

Unemployed people may have to invest their time in job retraining to participate in the new green economy. It takes many months to train a rookie welder.

The electricians had jobs the next day.

The heavy equipment operators had jobs the next day.

There is no money in solar panels. Let China or somebody else make those. The money is in the solar power controllers and installation.
