... in case you did not notice, it is those individuals who are close to the poverty line plus most middle income Americans who recently rec'd a $1,400.00 stimulus cheque.

The entire economy is booming and lower income Americans are finding much higher paying jobs as the demand for skilled labour is so great employers are offering a $100.00 bonus cheque just to come in for an interview.

If it were not for the imposed lockdowns, the USA would be in a much worse place due to COVID-19 and the economy would still be stalled.

You can say I told you so as much as you want but the economy is moving ahead with or without you.

Study: Biden 8 Times More Like to Be Defended Than Fact-Checked by PolitiFact

A new study discovered left-wing bias from the fact-checker PolitiFact, and nobody should be surprised.
The Media Research Center released its findings Tuesday comparing the number of fact checks of claims that President Joe Biden made versus the number made of claims made against the president.
In Biden’s first 100 days, PolitiFact fact-checked him 13 times in comparison with the 106 times it seemingly defended him — a whopping eight times as much.

On PolitiFact’s signature “Truth-O-Meter,” the conservative organization determined that Biden and former President Donald Trump had equal ratings of 61.5 percent.
However, Trump had 52 “Truth-O-Meter” fact checks in his first 100 days as opposed to a meager 13 for Biden, according to the study.

Does this mean that Biden does not lie as much as the former president? Perhaps. But that does not mean PolitiFact doesn’t have a clear preference for defending him as opposed to holding him accountable.
Left-leaning institutions such as PolitiFact — which is run by the Poynter Institute, a nonprofit school for journalists in St. Petersburg, Florida — can be a helpful tool to fight misinformation, but being extremely selective with what they fact-check is damaging to their credibility.

The establishment media, along with fact-checkers such as PolitiFact and Snopes, love to tout that the right is a hotbed for false information, but they do not bother to make changes to build bipartisan trust in their own organizations.
By having a clear bias, they are showing that perceived impartiality usually has a hidden liberal slant, as opposed to many right-wing sources that tend to be upfront about their bias.

      Media Research Center (MRC)

Overall, we rate Media Research Center strongly right biased based on advocacy for a conservative agenda and Mixed for factual reporting due to the promotion of propaganda, pseudoscience, and a poor fact check record by their primary sources.

... plus the ex President lied so much every day that of course fact checkers checked him more often.

Alert: Clock Is Ticking as Federalization of City's Police Under Biden Is Set to Begin

The Oregonian from April, the problem stems from a settlement the Portland Police Bureau reached with the DOJ in 2014 regarding its use of force against mentally ill individuals. At the time, Portland agreed to changes in training, use-of-force practices, Taser policies and investigations into potential misconduct.
The problem arose during the riots and protests in the city last year and dealt with how the PPB reported instances of police use of force to the Department of Justice.

Of all the police departments that have been tossed about by the waves of the past year’s unrest, Portland, Oregon’s might have had it the worst. Now, it could be coming under federal control, thanks to the terms of a 7-year-old agreement with the Department of Justice.

That still does not change the fact that they report the truth. And as usual you don't like the truth. And where on that scale do you fall? The extreme left?

... most Americans are tired of the party of no.

President Biden is leading the USA towards a much brighter future based on truth, science and the rule of law.

No, actually they report what you want to hear. And if they ever stop reporting what you want to hear you will just find another source that does. That's how people with extreme views operate.

You're assuming that everyone thinks what Biden plans on doing will result in a "comeback". If the opposing party feels that his plan will have the opposite effect, they will likely oppose any effort he makes. This is called checks and balances. You think the previous administration was immune to such roadblocks? I'm sure you were first in line to call out anything Trump tried to do, how is what you're complaining about any different?

what The turtle was saying about opposing the new spending bill on infrastructure, is the majority of the spending went to electric cars/trucks where only 6% went to actual bridges and roads. The bill was nothing but a liberal wish list for their pet projects. What day care has to do with infrastructure is way beyond the scope of the title of what the bill should be about.
As always (including past stimulus bills) they have packed it with pork that doesn't pertain to the meaning of the bill and doesn't have the impact of the outline for said bills.

You can look at the titles of some of the rant n rave threads.... they didn't even give one inch of credit to the previous admin. IN FACT they follow the talking points that "Biden Built This" when in reality the ground work was laid and the cement dried long before Biden was even confimed as the new CIC.
Where would Biden be now if Operation Warp Speed and DPA hadn't have been enacted? NO WHERE. I keep reminding the liberals here that IF Trump hadn't rolled out the Warp Speed act, that Biden and Harris would have had to wait months into their admin to get their shots.
The shots were passed out and people had received their in mid December 2020 (12/14/20).

Seeing how they have reacted to the border crisis, none of them have even visited the border yet, but have been pushing the spending bill. IF their plan was so great they both wouldn't have to be criss crossing the country to excessively push their multi TRILLION dollar wasteful spending.

It's been estimated that the total of all the proposed spending bills are upwards of 20 TRILLION dollars and in order to pay for them all, besides taxing corps and 1% earners in the country that even the middle class and lower income people will pay in taxes AND higher prices across the board for ALL products.

We have seen that come to fruition in: Gas prices.. Food prices... dry goods... wood products. And with the child care subsidies about to be rolled out means that government will play a larger role in: Pricing..hiring..regulations and over watch activities by the feds. That means the child care owners will have to settle for LESS capable employees which mean the quality of the care our kids will receive.

The dems have snow blinded their followers with outlandish claims on how rosey life will be under their 'care'. They have already started to try and force us to: eat the food they want us to (less red meat) drive what they want us to drive (electric cars/trucks) work in fields that they wanted to fill (renewable energy) think the way they want us to ( public indoctrination/schools-colleges) and all the while they will do as they damn well want to.

The want LARGER government and higher taxes, when We The People want the exact opposite.

Pretty simple why would anyone block repair of road and bridge's.

Why would every Republican not vote for Covid19 plan than bragg how they got money to help businesses.
