GOP Looks to Narrow Pelosi's Majority Still Further in NM Congressional Special Election
Republican congressional candidate state Sen. Mark Moores is looking to build on the GOP’s strong showing in Texas last week in a special election slated for June 1 in New Mexico.
Moores told The Western Journal on Friday that a win in the Land of Enchantment’s state’s first congressional district would make life even more difficult for Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The district “is going to flip from blue to red, and they’re very worried that when we win this, the House of Representatives is only going to be two votes different and it’s going to be much, much harder for them to pass their radical agenda,” he said.
... Republicans are trying to do what they do best .... CHEAT!
Across the USA , many Republican controlled states are actively creating and have passed over 350 new restrictive voting laws intended to suppress the vote of anyone who is not likely to vote Republican.
This an assault on democracy by the Republican minority.
President Biden has two remaining opportunity cards to play this year with Zero Republican support required.
1. Infrastructure
2. Family Values
3. We the People voting rights
He wanted to pick 1 & 2 but the Republicans are going to Force 1 & 3.Comment

all the 'cheating' has been done by liberals CHANGING the rules at the last minute... happened in the House during the impeachment trials and in the states by changing the election laws.. IN FACT judges have been over turning the election laws and have been taking people to court for changing them.
Family Values? like believing in GOD? Keeping the family core together? ( mom and dads to teach the children) it was liberals that pushed for gay rights... abortions.... state controlling what the parents have control over in their own family's... the freedom to choose if we take the shot or not... the 2A rights that are God given and destroying the " Shall not infringe " clause of the Constitution .....
remember the dems are the party of slavery .. Jim Crow Laws .. the anti-civil rights ... BLM and AntiFakes and BIG GOVERNMENTComment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
liberals are bitching about Voter ID's ... doesn't your country have voter ID laws? Most of the free world requires and ID to vote.
it proves that you ARE a citizen of said country.
there isn't much you can do without an ID (and MOST states have made it so you can apply ONLINE to get one)
you need and ID to get:
a checking/banking account
to apply for Section 8 housing
for food stamps
unemployment
to buy a house
to rent an apartment
to buy cigarettes if you don't appear to be 18
to buy beer/booze if you don't appear to be of age
to attend Maxine Watters speaking venues
hire a lawyer
to get a job
to visit the White House
to visit a museum
to visit the doctor
to buy medications
cash a check
to apply for a credit card
and the list goes on.
Biden went as far in one of his speeches that black and hispanics weren't smart enough to use the internet or find the polling places ... 82% of citizens APPROVE of voter ID laws and 90% (including blacks and hispanics ) say the have computers and access the internet on a daily basis ..
the libs blamed the plandemic for the need for Mail-in ballots. BUT they pushed for NO FORM of identification to be able to vote. Hell even here in NC I have to: provide an ID... verify my Name and address, before receiving my ballot. And we STILL had fraud due to mail in ballots with no signature or verification because Gov Pooper changed some of the rules for voting 1 WEEK before early voting started.
yup it's the liberals that cheated.Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Less people were driving during the plandemic.. how does that INCREASE prices? It's because of the BIDEN oil plans.
Biden's energy secretary blames COVID-19 for soaring gas prices, but oil industry expert points at Biden
Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm is blaming the pandemic for soaring gas prices.
Since President Joe Biden took office on Jan. 20, the national average gas price has soared more than 50 cents. As of Friday, it stood at nearly $3 per gallon
Ironically, Granholm's remark about herd immunity comes after the New York Times published a story suggesting herd immunity in the U.S. is no longer probable.
What's to blame?
While typical culprits such as refinery maintenance and converting to summertime blends are partly to blame for the surge in gas prices, oil expert David Blackmon recently explained in Forbes the Biden administration's policies are also a major contributor.
"Since last November 3, the average price per gallon of regular gasoline in the U.S. has skyrocketed by 75 cents. The markets clearly see the Biden/Harris administration as one that will work to inhibit U.S. oil production, which will also have the effect of tightening the global market, and traders have responded by driving up the price of crude oil," Blackmon wrote.
He explained:
President Biden's Day 1 executive orders to cancel the cross-border permit for the Keystone XL pipeline and suspend the program for oil and gas leasing on federal lands and waters were just initial shots across the bow. His order to raise the estimate for the "social cost of carbon" by over 700% will inevitably result in regulatory actions that will raise the cost of producing oil in the U.S., as will the coming effort by the Biden EPA to convince the courts to allow it to regulate carbon as a "criteria pollutant," a topic I'll address in more detail in the coming days.
All of these actions and more to come will increase the costs of not just oil and gasoline, but all forms of non-renewable energy for consumers, will make the country increasingly reliant on foreign oil imports and thus will render the country less energy secure than before. These outcomes are entirely predictable and are in fact features of the Biden/Harris plan, which is in part designed to make EVs and renewables more competitive by raising the cost of fossil fuels and other more traditional forms of energy. That's not a value judgement: it's just reality.Comment

Nancy Pelosi botches attempt to honor Willie Mays by posting photo of wrong black baseball legend
Nancy Pelosi struck out in an attempt to wish baseball legend Willie Mays a happy birthday. The Democratic House Speaker from California swung and missed on the tribute when she posted a photo of the wrong black baseball icon.
Pelosi's social media team was caught napping while attempting to wish a happy 90th birthday to all-time great Willie Mays. Instead of posting a photo of Mays, an image of Willie McCovey was shared. McCovey, a baseball superstar in his own right, sadly passed away in 2018 at the age of 80.
"Happy 90th Birthday to an all-American icon, Willie Mays," Pelosi tweeted on Thursday. "A trailblazing, record-breaking baseball player, civil rights leader, and champion for youth sports and well-being, Willie Mays is a civic legend and national treasure."
Pelosi, who has represented the city of San Francisco for decades, whiffed on the bush league birthday tidings because there was a photo of McCovey instead of the Say Hey Kid. Pelosi's social media team didn't catch the error, but keen-eyed baseball fans noticed the faux pas and cried foul. With Pelosi's social media team caught in a pickle, they quickly tried to clean up the mistake by posting another photo, this time of Willie Mays along with Pelosi.
Pelosi's office issued a statement on the mix-up of San Francisco Giants greats.
I guess her staff can't tell the difference between one black baseball player and another.
"A staffer inadvertently selected the wrong photo for the tweet," the statement read. "The photo we wanted to use was of the Speaker and Willie Mays at Willie McCovey's August 2018 wedding. The quickly deleted photo was the wrong photo from the right wedding. We apologize for the error."
Both players were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, Mays in 1979 and McCovey in 1986.
Mays, who is the oldest living Baseball Hall of Famer, is arguably one of the greatest baseball players to ever play the game.
Thus far, Pelosi has not received nearly as much widespread, and at times harsh condemnation that she deserves.
