White House press secretary Jen Psaki categorically ruled out paying for new infrastructure spending with an increase in the gas tax or other user fees, saying that would violate a “red line” from President Biden not to raise taxes on Americans making less than $400,000 a year.

Biden is also seeking to put a spotlight on immigration policy Friday as he holds an Oval Office meeting with six beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to discuss their experiences working in health care, education and agriculture during the pandemic.

The stock market is shitting the bed like we predicted.

Before the liberals start running to defend Biden, just remember that they also told you that Trudeau had the vaccine in the bag for Canadians. Hell, they still can't admit that he failed on the vaccine front. Tell us who we can't trust.

Over the course of my life I've found that liberals tend to think with their heart rather than their brain.

Liberals didn't see inflation coming? Please.

White House Says It Was Surprised by Inflation Jump

The White House admitted Friday they were surprised by the rise in consumer prices in March, the largest jump since 2008.

Rouse spoke to reporters at the White House press briefing Friday, offering some analysis of the recent bad economic numbers for the economy.

She argued part of the jump in consumer prices was a result of a month-to-month spike in used car sales. Used car prices jumped by 10 percent in April compared with March and up 21 percent from a year ago.

She also cited a 10 percent price increase in airline tickets, as more people were looking at traveling in the Summer.

                            I can predict the future:

Soon the headline will read: White House surprised that 401k's are now worthless.

Or: Whitehouse surprised that ISIS has built back bigger and stronger.

Or: Whitehouse surprised that Green New Jobs are failing to materialize..

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill

President Biden on Friday signed an executive order revoking two measures issued by former President Donald Trump last summer in response to protests against racial injustice that targeted monuments of controversial Americans.

Biden's order revokes multiple Trump actions, including one that prioritized punishment for those caught vandalizing statues or monuments, as well as an order that established a "National Garden of American Heroes" that called for erecting statues of hundreds of prominent Americans.

The order signed Friday also revokes a May 2020 order signed by Trump that directed federal agencies to review Section 230, a law that provides protections to social media companies. The move came as Trump and his allies fumed over social media censorship when Twitter began flagging the then-president's false tweets about mail voting and incendiary comments around the racial injustice protests.

All three orders were signed by Trump during the summer of 2020 as protests took place around the country in response to the murder of George Floyd by a police officer who knelt on Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes.
