@HouseGOP
President Biden just confused President Trump with Vladimir Putin after meeting with Putin for nearly FOUR hours.
gaffesTwitter was during another press conference, where Biden took a long, awkward pause in the middle of speaking.

President Biden raised eyebrows with an odd gaffe during his press conference following a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he appeared to mistakenly use the name of his own predecessor when discussing the Russian leader.

Generally speaking, history shows that as goes the US economy, so goes the rest of the world remember the subprime mortgage crisis that started in 2006-2008Comment

.... thank goodness Canadian banks never participated in that uniquely American sub prime mess. Canadian banking laws are different than the USA'sComment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
You're missing the point.
Let me spell it out for you. When Canada gets sick, no one cares. When the USA catches a cold, Canada comes down with pneumonia.
Recession of 2008–09 in Canada
The global financial crisis that began in 2007 dragged much of the world economy into recession, and Canada was not spared. Although the effects on Canada were milder than on the United States and in Europe, the Canadian recession of 2008–09 was still severe enough to generate sharp declines in output and employment and to require significant responses by Canadian policy-makers.
Origins
While its underlying causes are varied and still subject for debate, it is widely acknowledged that the global financial crisis was triggered by the surge and collapse of United States housing prices during the 2000s.

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
(CNN)Russian President Vladimir Putin praised US President Joe Biden Thursday, describing him as a "professional" who is "completely knowledgeable on all issues," according to a Kremlin transcript of Putin's televised remarks.
"Mr. Biden is a professional, and you need to be very careful when working with him so as not to miss something," Putin said during a video conference meeting with graduates from Russia's Graduate School of Public Administration. "He himself does not miss a thing, I assure you, and this was absolutely clear to me."
"Let me say it again: he is focused, he knows what he wants to achieve and does it very skillfully, and you can instantly sense it," the Russian President added.
What's more hilarious is that you and the liberal media take the Pooter seriously!
This was obviously a "dig" at our president.
Remember when Biden “..gave the Pooter a list of…16 specific entities, 16 defined as critical infrastructure under US policy from the energy sector to our water systems that are 'off limits' to cyber attacks,”?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Who the Fuck does that!!?? LOL!
Joe: "Putin, We really really don't want you to attack certain entities in our country, like, really don't want them attacked, no way, no how, ya know?"
Putin: "Oh, we would never think of it (*laughs*). Which ones are you talking about dear friend? Just so we are aware of which ones not to attack."
Joe: "Which ones you ask? Well I just so happen to have a list of the super critical, super important, and super crucial infrastructure that should absolutely not, under any circumstances, be attacked. Don't even think about attacking these critical sectors that are right here on this list I'm giving to you. It would be devastating to our country if an attack were to happen on any of these entities on THIS LIST right here.
Putin: "Don't worry comrade! Now that we have your list of super important infrastructure....you will be safe!"

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is to supply 79 "typhoon-proof turbines" to a major onshore wind development in Japan, as the country attempts to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels and develop more renewable energy installations.
The 339.7 megawatt Dohuku project will be located on the island of Hokkaido, Siemens Gamesa said in a statement Wednesday, and consist of four facilities set to be developed by Japan's Eurus Energy.Comment
