I don't understand the love affair some democrats have with communists. Benie Sanders once honeymooned in Russia and praised their government. The Trudea clan of Canada was in love with Fidel Castro.

Many are also trying to draw attention to President Joe Biden and his administration to act.

Well, it looks like democrats may find themselves in a pickle:
A few years ago I took a week long vacation in southern Cuba. I really enjoyed it and would like to go back again.

Food was great although a few things like ketchup tasted a little off.

The people were very friendly. Cuba has an entire educational industry devoted to tourism training dancers, singers, musicians, etc.

I know Cuba was not great for all of its citizens and there were certainly shortages and lack of transparency. Some things the tour guides were not permitted to discuss.

It was sad to me that the ex-President spitefully reversed everything that President Obama did to re-open meaningful dialogue between the two countries.

Fortunately, Canada and Cuba have an open and productive relationship.

Wow, dude. The Castro Family have a long history of torturing their people. The Cuban people are so desparte to leave that they get on a homemade raft and risk their life to get to Florida. As we speak the people of Cuba are begging for our help. I find your statement sad and so misguided. In fact, I think you should apologize.

.. you need to stop watching so much right wing propaganda and stop beiieving every lie the ex President said.

Cuba is a beautiful tropical country that for the last 30+years Canada has maintained an open border with.

I acknowledge there are political problems and civil unrest but in large part this has been made worse by the US embargo forcing Cuba to seek assistance from other countries like China.

Wow, just wow. You hate Trump more than a communist dictator who throws his people in prision and tortures them. Your priorities are some kind of fucked up, dude. You're too far gone for me.

... Great! Tune out! No one will miss you!

Canada and Cuba have a well-established, significant and growing commercial and investment relationship. Cuba is Canada's top market in the Caribbean/Central American sub-region and bilateral merchandise trade between the two countries is over one billion dollars annually.

I hope everyone is reading this. This dude is talking about the the money that is exchanged between a communist regime in Cuba and Canada while the Cuban people are protesting in the street and begging for their freedom.

You cannot get much farther south in Cuba than Gitmo. So are you saying that you were a terrorist?

2 Boy Scouts rescue drowning woman from Missouri floodwaters

The woman was clinging to a basketball hoop after severe rainfall flooded a park in Columbia, Missouri.

Joseph Diener, 16, and Dominic Viet, 15, were exploring their hometown of Columbia, Missouri, on Friday to survey the damage after a massive rainfall flooded parts of the city.
The two, along with a few other friends, were biking when all of a sudden, they heard someone calling for help.

“We didn’t know if they were serious or not,” Joseph explained. “She said it twice before we got over there.”
The group of teens saw a woman in a bathing suit, clinging to a basketball hoop that was nearly entirely submerged in the floodwaters.

The two took “about 30 seconds” to realize they had to take action, Joseph said.

“My friend Dom was like, ‘I’ll get in if she actually needs help,’ and I was like, ‘OK, because I’m going in,’” Joseph said.
There was a small group of people gathered near the woman already, Dominic said.

“We were like, ‘We can swim, we’re trained for this,’” he told TODAY. “Then we were just like, ‘Let's go.’ And then we just ran right in.”

The two said they had the woman grab onto their shoulders because her legs were cramping and they were able to doggy-paddle back to the shore.

“There were some currents trying to pull us down too, because — I don't know —it's not normal water,” Dominic said.
The two were able to make it to solid ground with the drowning victim, they said, who started throwing up water.

Assistant Fire Chief Jerry Jenkins confirmed the teens’ account to TODAY and added that the woman was expected to be OK, though he did not know her current status.
