There is already more gun laws on the books that dont solve any problems. Criminals dont follow the laws. Laws only affect law abiding citizens. They are not the ones killing people.

... the only solution to the gun violence in America is to aim more restrictive gun laws at the manufacturers of these weapons. A recent ground breaking liability case was won against Remington for the massacre of children at Sandy Hook. Until the gun industry changes it's ways due to fears they will be forced out of business by law suits filed against them they are just going to keep on what they are doing. Producing lethal weapons for profit.
We know that criminals do not follow laws. That is an old talking point. A gun manufacturer, however, must follow laws and be liable like any other manufacturer for any damages their product causes the public.

So sue the flatware manufacturer?
The car maker?
How about the home appliance makers?
It is the USER of any tool that decide to use it for good or bad.

... certainly yes! Flatware, car and appliance manufacturers often have class action lawsuits launched against them if their product proves dangerous to the public.
A user is welcome to their own opinions but if 1,000 other people have a different opinion, a class action law suit is born. The USA is a very litigious society.

Then explain why the cities with the highest rates of gun violence are also those with the most restrictive gun laws. Oh let's say like Chicago or Washington DC.

Exactly.
Anti-gunners can't EVER explain that fact and just pretend it doesn't exist.
