I doubt anything is gonna happen. Still I like his story of being a crack addict and becomming a sucessful business man who employs many people. He has great products. I like the pillows and the mattress topper. I dont like the way his company is being blackballed and just because of that I will buy more of his products.

I don't think he's crazy, as I have recently this year looked into running for public office at the state level, learned some really interesting and horrible things after reading how getting on the ballot works, how campaign finance works, etc, etc., I have also personally had my at home ballot (a requested one) completely disregarded due to the county office that is five miles from my home, claiming that they rec'd the ballot late. It was in the mail 3-4 days before it was due, but took about 5-6 to get to them...which is unbelievable imo. (I've also de-registered from the Democrat party and for now am going to be an Independent). What's really incredible about the ballot issue (and this was not for the presidential election but local offices) is that counties have been allowed to either throw away ballots rec'd after the due date OR count late ballots apparently at their own discretion. Look up Pennsylvania's Lt. Governor vs. the state senate and you'll see what problems that caused...lol.

Pennsylvania also in a 5-2 decision removed third party candidates from our ballot. 5 democrat state supreme justices ruled in favor of removing the third party candidates and the two republican ones voted in favor of letting them on the ballot. This reminds me of the many post cards the democrat party used to send me telling me if I vote third party or independent then I'm effectively voting for the republicans...of course out of disgust and retaliation I decided to always vote directly for the Republican candidate if they sent me such a post card.

What I have learned is that the democrats and republicans have made is almost completely impossible for third parties and independents to exist, get on the ballot, get sufficient funding, etc. Independents have to have many times more signatures to get on the ballot, and even then the parties will file lawsuits to try to get as many signatures disqualified. Regarding campaign financing, they limit how much money an individual can donate to a candidate and forbid contributions from corporations and nonprofits...sounds good on paper right? Well for the dems and repubs they allow unlimited donations if the money is funneled through a PAC or committee, or if expenses or campaigns are paid for directly by third parties. These are all things that third parties and independents aren't going to be easily able to do...especially since independents tend to be grass roots candidates that need support from citizens but those citizens are limited on how much they can donate and most major corporations and the wealthy don't care about pro people candidates.

So I don't think that the pillow guy is crazy at all...not after the things I have personally experienced and learned as of late. But what I'm more concerned about is why we as citizens still allow these two parties to even exist when they both do things that harm us.

I thought illegal's were "taking all of our jobs" ? Funny that we seem to have a labor shortage at the moment.
