RIP Charlie Watts Rolling Stones drummer

For a guy who played with the biggest rock and roll band of all time (my opinion) he was quiet and just a rock solid drummer. none better.
Tough to find Stones videos that arent just Mick struttin round like a rooster but heres a few.

In the early days (dont think I was even born yet for this one)

    RIP Charlie

This is shining on the Superdome in New Orleans tonight.

Charlie Watts and Ginger Baker, The Cream, are cut from a much better cloth than most drummers. Ginger died two years ago also at the age of 80.

Here are a couple I think you missed. Found them searching YouTube for Charlie Watts. The first one is the drum from Honky Tonk Women.

I always think of Paint It Black when I hear someone mention CW.

... sad day for family, friends and music fans. Charlie Watts is the first Professional drummer that I can remember.

In recent images Charlie looked to be in good health for an 80 year old man.

I cannot image how many calories Charlie must have burned during his career banging on drums.

I bit off subject but if you haven't seen it, there is a documentary about Ginger called "Beware of Mr. Baker".
