I was listening to The Young Turks. They were discussing why they lost.

Basically they blamed it on the extreme left promoting Transgenderism in school and free trans surgery. And open borders and free money for illegals. Only the far left supports that.

They went on to say that democrats should run on universal health care and free college and a living wage and secure border.

I agree. I think they would be tough to beat if they did that.

Initiative Statute and was intended to reduce prison crowding. The Secretary of State, a liberal Democrat, decided to mislead the voters be titling it 'The Sage Neighborhoods Act. They claimed it would reduce the number of felons living in neighborhoods. In truth it actually increased the number by releasing those in prison. In addition many felonies were reclassified as misdemeanors. Felony records were purged of everything that was no longer considered a felony. Consequently former felons were no longer listed a felons by the State but they are still in our neighborhoods.

It was part of Prop 47. Level to be considered Grand Larceny was changed from I believe $650.00, though it may have been lower, to actually $950.00 not $1,000.00, $1,000.00 was easier for liberals to remember. Dollar amount was per item. Proposition 36 was placed on the ballot in response to major retail thefts in major "blue" cities. It changed the Grand Larceny level from "per item" to "per incident"
