    Crusin' the Coast

When I moved to the coast about 20 years ago, I sold a copier to a company called Gulf Coast Motor Sports. The owner's name was Jimbo. I don't remember his last name but he published a monthly news letter about hot rod cars and trunks. At the time he was always talking about his dream of getting people from all over the country to come to Mississippi for a hot rod gathering. I never took him too seriosly but a few years later a small gathering took place. As the years have passed it's turned into major fucking event with people coming from all over the world.

Traffic is terrible. People are everywhere. But the cars and trunks are cool.

Here's a video that is posted on youtube.

    Cool rides
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

The coast line is about 26 miles long and there's hot rods from one side to the other. Literally thousands of cars. It's pretty amazing if you're in to that. And I am.
