Having starving kids in school sounds very bad. We'll have no hurricane warning, kids starving, and its all because Trump is Hitler.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

I remember when the starving children and free breakfast started. It was based on a survey of school age children. About six months into the program someone finally got the question actually asked. "Does your mother cook you a hot breakfast every day before school?" Children that age tend to tell the truth so if it was someone other than their mother who made breakfast they answered NO. If they had cold cereal for breakfast, very popular due to TV advertising, they answered NO.Comment

The United States was added to a global human rights watchlist.
CIVICUS, the group that maintains and publishes the list, said: “The United States of America (USA) has been added to our Watchlist as the country faces increasing undue restrictions on civic freedoms under President Donald Trump’s second term.“

PRESIDENT or DICTATOR⁉️ Donald Trump just signed an order his own secretary calls “the farthest-reaching exective action in American history” — and it will make it harder for millions of LEGAL Americans to vote.
The sweeping order amends the federal voter registration form to require proof of citizenship in order to vote. It demands documentary proof for citizenship such as a passport to be eligible to vote in federal elections, empowers federal agencies to cut funding to states deemed non-compliant, and instructs the Department of Justice to prosecute what the White House paints as “election crimes”.
Here’s the big part: The measure also blocks states from accepting mail-in ballots after election day — regardless of when they are mailed in.
Many of the provisions in the order are likely to be quickly challenged and are legally suspect. The US constitution explicitly gives states and Congress the authority to set the rules for election and does not authorize the president to do so.
