8 guys have more money than 4 billion people combined. Pretty sure the single mom buying groceries with food stamps isn't the problem.

Cuts to the Medicaid program that could amount to hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade are looking more and more likely after a House of Representatives vote on Tuesday night, and shares of hospital owners and Medicaid-focused insurers were down Wednesday.

Yep Republicans just want their TAX cuts for the Rich

This resolution just says the Ag Committee has to cut more than $200 billion... Nowhere in this resolution does it say what the cuts are.” He’s technically right— but he’s also playing dumb. The resolution, which passed the House with only Republican support by a vote of 217-215, doesn’t explicitly call for cuts to programs. What is does do is instruct certain committees to cut the following amounts:
The Energy & Commerce will cut at least $880 billion over 10 years, which is where Medicaid is funded.

The Agriculture Committee will cut at least $230 billion, which is where Food Stamps are funded.

To be clear, if you’re going to cut $880 billion from Energy & Commerce, the only mathematical way to do that is by cutting Medicaid. Likewise, if you’re going to cut $230 billion from Agriculture, the only way that’s achieved is by cutting SNAP. So when Republicans slyly suggest that those popular programs aren’t expressly named in the resolution, they’re banking on Americans being too stupid to realize that while the resolution itself doesn’t call for those cuts, it does call for cuts to the committees that fund those programs. I’m not sure which is worse: the fact that Republicans are moving to gut the last lifeline for 85 million Americans who rely on Medicaid and 43 million Americans who rely on Food Stamps or the fact that they’re lying about doing it.

And perhaps just as shameful, all of this is intended to offset spending for - surprise, surprise - a tax cut for the ultrawealthy. These cuts to Medicaid, Food stamps, student loans, all of which impacts regular Americans, will occur in order to be able to make possible a $4.5 trillion in tax cuts that will overwhelmingly benefit the ultrarich

That's because Republicans, and especially trumpty dumpty, feel it's imperative to ensure the financial stability of billionaires. And they do this with taxpayer funded handouts for them.

Earlier this week, the House passed the Republican budget resolution. One goal is to slash $2 trillion over a decade from the federal budget, which could bring significant cuts to Medicaid.
Medicaid is a joint federal and state health insurance program for disabled and low-income Americans. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services works with state programs to administer Medicaid, which enrolls more than 72.1 million people.

Yep only F up 82.1 million people healthcare to give tax cut to the Rich

All Republicans voted NO to save Medicaid from cuts and NO to stopping tax cuts for the rich.

Same playbook as the first cuts..."increased growth will pay for these tax cuts"....oops, had to add 8 trillion to national debt.
They are claiming they will cut 2 trillion from "waste and fraud", to spend 4.5 trillion all while being 37 trillion in debt, to give more tax cuts to the wealthy. While I admit I am not an accountant, I do know how math works. Middle class just gets an extension as those cuts expire at the end of this year. Not to mention they stripped out the no tax on tips or SS; what is actually left for the working class beside more debt?

I seriously hope you aren't putting musky in that same basket. He's the bestest at everything. He would never do anything bad for the people he represents! Oh, wait, he wasn't even elected, he was brought in because he said nice things about trumpy. And now he has everyone's personal information. What could possibly go wrong?

Catholics call on Congress to protect Medicaid The three largest Catholic organizations in the country are urging Congress not to cut Medicaid to pay for their reconciliation bill that aims to drive much of President Trump’s agenda.

                            No worries Republicans don't care

Republican leaders in Congress have directed the committee that oversees Medicaid to cut $880 billion from the next budget. They say these cuts aren’t necessarily aimed at Medicaid, the insurance program for 72 million poor and disabled Americans. The cuts could come from Medicare, for instance. But Trump has vowed not to touch that very popular program. And a sum this large can’t come from anywhere else.

I am sure people will love this idea
