So, you're saying this hurts Canada. So why is Carney doing it? Spite?

Do you really not know why there have been counter tariffs from Canada? Are you unsure why Canadians have been avoiding the US in droves since your BOI(big orange imbecile) started this illegal trade war?

You said it a million times that a tariff hurts the importer. Tell me how the Carney tariff helps Canada?

The collected tariffs will be used to help businesses and employees affected by the US tariffs. While your BOI will be using the collected tariffs to give handouts to the ultra wealthy. See the difference.

In other words, the average Canadian tax payer are gonna subsidize the businesses that are effected?

Mostly just the employees, but yeah, I'm sure some businesses will receive help. So, trumpy isn't gonna cause as much damage to Canada as he thinks. In the meantime, he is causing extreme damage to his own people. He's an absolute imbecile

Did you know that 6 days after Trump imposed his tariffs on Canada that Mike Carney moved his headquarters to Trump's home city? There's your strong leader, son.

You do realise that Brookfield's parent company is still headquartered in Toronto, right?
And the asset management portion announced their move in October, not November

Analysts say a trade war could trigger a drop of almost 11 percent in travel spending. Meanwhile, a new survey warns that 30 percent of Canadians who had trips to the U.S. have already canceled them.

Canadians are making a mass exodus from Southwest Florida, and now businesses on the Gulf Coast say they're feeling the impact.
This comes as the U.S. clamps down on Canadian visits requiring background checks and fingerprints if they plan to stay more than 30 days in Florida.
