So are you trying to tell me that every SNL episode contains comedians picking out one specific disabled child and making fun of him /her and his /her disability? I think you're wrong.

The disabled child was not merely anyone. He was a public figure and that makes a big difference. I'm not gonna waste my time trying to explain it to you.

Free speech is a HUGE deal in America. I found the jokes about the disabled kid to be appalling. I felt terrible for the kid.

However, free speech will always be more important than protecting someone from being offended. And, yes, it is scary when a government takes away free speech. It leads to things like seizing the bank accounts of private citizens.

You either have a low IQ or you're not educated properly. Riddle me this: Who decides if the lawsuit has merit? And who decides if the comedian is guilty or innocent?

In this country the Court is actually not influenced by anyone in power. They are truly independent. So, no, you don't have to explain anything to me. You wouldn't understand a non-partisan Court anyway.

Let me explain why you are ignorant.


You have confused "partisan" with "independent".


Every judge has their own biases. There's not a judge in the world that doesn't. So that means that all judges are partisan.


"Independent" means that they aren't controlled by anyone. In other words, there's no recourse when a judge cast his or her vote. Judges on the supreme court have a lifetime appointment which ensures that they are independent.


I hope that you learned something but it's doubtful.


Last but not least, your supreme court is part of your government. You should have learned that in school.
