The USA/ Israel War against Iran.

Until Trump and Netanayu/ PM Israel leave office, a tenuous peace is not possible.

Americans around the world now a new reason to look over their shoulders and worry even more about their personal safety.

There are 1.2 to 2 million Iranians living in the USA. There are 92 million Iranians in Iran.

Iran will never surrender to the USA/ Israel and their military optins will become more covert.

Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's head of National Intelligence services told Trump that Iran was a long way away from fielding a nuclear weapon. There was no immediate threat to the USA.

Trump does not have the constitutional authority to launch America into a new war. Only Congress has that power.

After the mid- term elections, assuming the Democrats will win back the majority in the House, they will almost certainly impeach Trump for gross missue of power.

Trump became President partially because he promised to keep America out of new wars.

He has needlessly got America into a new war this week. Great for the defence industry, not so great for the average US citizen.

Global and US gas prices are going to rise on Monday becuase Iran's "Congress" has voted to close the Strait of Hormuz with mines and missles through which flows 20% of the world's commerce.

It is hard to trust anthing that the US gov't says these day. The only thing we know for sure is that Trump is both deranged and a liar.

Iran has activated multiple sleeper cells in the USA,

The White House has appointed Thomas Furgate, 22 years old and a former Trump campaign worker, who has now and only previous work experience working in a grocery store to be in charge of US counter terrorism. He has no apparent national security experience.

One year out of college and with no apparent national security expertise, Thomas Fugate is the Department of Homeland Security official tasked with overseeing the government’s main hub for combating violent extremism.

... I hope you all feel safer.

It is now 50/50 if Iran will close the Straits of Hormuz. 90% of Iran's oil production is shipped to China and Iran needs the revenue.

Many oil tankers destined for the Staits of Hormuz have altered their routes.

Shipping Insurance rates to pass through this area has risen.

Oil prices are holding steady this AM.

Should Iran close the Straits it risks antagonizing its neighbours plus put it's oil industry infrastructure at risk of destruction.

Iran will not let the US attack go unanswered, so it will almost certainly retaliate against the USA with cyber attacks and terrorist sleeper cells.

... it is speculated that Iran had moved much of its uranium stockpiles and atomic bomb infrastructure away from the sites bombed by up to two months before the US airstrike occured.

Donald Trump is the most documented liar in US Presidential history. Over 33,000 lies in his first term.

Trump distorts facts and makes stuff up.

The political people he has appointed into directing various senior postions cannot be trusted as they are either imcompetent or will say whatever they think Trump wants to hear.

Most recent lie, the Iranian nuclear facitities were not totally destroyed by bunker busting bombs despite Trump's claims.

‘Simply rhetoric’: Trump’s Iran strike claims questioned

The U.S. attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities has jolted global diplomacy and heightened fears of a broader regional conflict, with observers warning that the future of nuclear non-proliferation may be at risk.

The attack, which employed long-range bombers and 30,000-pound bunker-buster bombs, marked a dramatic escalation in the simmering conflict between Israel and Iran.

But it also drew the U.S. directly into a war it had long sought to avoid.

In an interview on CTV’s Question Period Sunday, former head of Canada’s military, retired general Tom Lawson said he wasn’t surprised by the attack despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s public reluctance to engage in war.

“Certainly, Mr. Trump is not often constant in a lot of his points of view,” Lawson said. “But this is one that he has been consistent about for a decade, or more.”

The Pentagon confirmed the use of 14 Massive Ordnance Penetrators in strikes on Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan. Although Trump claimed the facilities were “completely obliterated,” the military’s battle damage assessment remains incomplete.

“What the (U.S.) president said last night about it having been a massive success was simply rhetoric,” said Lawson, who served as chief of the defence staff from 2012 to 2015. “Even if there is complete damage to Fordo and Natanz and Isfahan, there may be other sites deep in mountains elsewhere, that will allow the Iranians to restart their program.”

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization and the United Nations nuclear watchdog reported no immediate radioactive contamination, but new questions have emerged about Iran’s uranium stockpile and its remaining capabilities. Some officials in Tehran have claimed nuclear material was moved before the strikes. ExpandAutoplay

Meanwhile, The Trump administration has framed the mission as a tightly controlled operation aimed solely at degrading Iran’s nuclear capacity.

“The Secretary (of Defence) was reflecting the (U.S.) president’s indications that this was a very limited and focused strike in an effort to minimize the response, at least to the United States,” said Lawson. “I think the hope is that the Americans can back out having done significant damage, that will buy time for something good to happen.”

But he warned that Iran could retaliate in ways that drag the U.S. deeper into the conflict — from targeting American troops stationed across the Middle East, to closing the Strait of Hormuz and sparking a global oil crisis.

“This is a very prideful regime,” Lawson said. “Khamenei has been a true believer for 50 years and if he is successful in killing Americans and … closing, perhaps the Straits of Hormuz and starting an oil war around the world, I think that will require further American involvement — and where it spirals from there becomes a little more difficult to predict.”
