Not getting new machines and toner in.

Need to get advice to see if other Kyocera dealers are not getting new machines in. We have machines on back order since Oct of last year. Is everyone feeling this pain? I am afraid if we don`t start getting machines in layoffs will happen soon. How are yall looking? Is this a nationwide thing? 6327 toner still very hard to get OEM from Kyocera. From small to big nothing is coming in. Customers are pissed and backing out of contracts.

From the phone calls we are getting I would say both Konica and Kyocera dealers are in the same situation as you.

People with these copiers are calling in asking if we are able to get new machines and asking if we can get toner for them.

Sharp has been been able to fulfill equipment orders just a little slower than in the past. Their A4 line is halted but were told long ago that they would not be making any for a while. Still some have came in. Lexmark told us don't expect any engines for months but they have been trickling in too.

Pretty sure Kyocera, Konica and Lexmark are the hardest hit. We have not seen any issues getting Lexmark toner but we don't sell any of the Lexmarks that are rebadged from other OEMs.

We have had a Lexmark 410 and tray on BO since October, no ETA. Toshiba equipment is coming in a little slower but thus far, not too bad from them. The used copiers are disappearing fast as we do a lot of refurbs and pickings are slim. Nothing like getting 5 machines that have all had parts swapped out from a lease return company. Konica Minolta is a disaster and that's being nice.
Its rough out here but I think it is slowly getting better.

Most of the hardware and supplies you are waiting is most like on one or more of the containers ships waiting to be able to to dock and unload. That most likely won't happen anytime soon unless the California legislature and Governor Newsom rescind the rules that block independent truckers from entering the port facilities along with a few other restrictions on trucking operations in California.
