... they have gone up a similar amount in Canada, England, West Germany, Japan and every other country in the world. Rising energy prices are not unique to the USA.
What is unique to the USA are the daily mass murders caused by gun violence. Right wing politicians should focus more about protecting children in schools rather than unborn fetuses.Comment

Some schools don't want police in the building.
Gun control won't work because the don't do a mental evaluation.
Buying a gun isn't all that easy... if done properly, thugs don't care about laws otherwise they wouldn't be a thug.
You don't want to protect every life?
I would rather have the criminal die rather than a newborn, there is something called ADOPTION.

...more typical talking points. Gun control does not work because it is too hard! Gun control works in every other country in the world.
Once again, 19 children and two adults lost their lives to an AR15. Texas has probably the most guns per citizen than any state in the USA. You do not even have to have a license to own and carry a concealed weapon. All the guns in the world did not prevent this mass murder so when is enough guns enough?
It is far easier in Texas to buy a gun than baby formula!Comment

In Chicago, dozens of people are shot every weekend, everyday there are killings/shootings, just seen a video of a 8 year old little girl being shoot dead in front of her apartment building while playing outside , and they have one of the toughest gun control laws in the country. In a free society things like that happen, in some parts of the world, they dont take a gun and kill someone, they take bombs and blow up dozens of people, there are bad/sick/demented people in this world. it's difficult to understand the why's and how's why people do what they do. We will learn more about this bad 18 year old. He shot his grandmother before being chased and him fleeing and jumping out of car and running into school. Sick 18 year old. Many flags before it happened. Pray for the families.

... this mentally sick 18 year old purchased two AR-15s without first having to pass a background check! More Americans are in favor of background checks becoming law than apple pie!
The only thing preventing national background checks is the Republican Senate and the filibuster. Both have to go!

The only place where there are not national background checks is the "Black market" or as they say on the street. First time gun buyers have a 10 day waiting period for purchasing a weapon. If the FBI cannot complete the check in that 10 day window it is not a problem with regulations. It is a leadership problem with the FBI.Comment

Much of the world's oil trading patterns have been disrupted by the Ukraine war. Yes, this far away war effects you, me and everybody else around the world and there is little any politician can do about it.
