The truth is based on actual facts. Conspiracies are based in lies.

Conspiracy means more than one person made plans to carry out a forbidden action:

"a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful"

Examples:

Any robbery or crime carried out by a group of people that involved planning in secrecy

FBI, FAA and the Navy covering up the reason why TWA 800 crashed a short time after taking off

CIA and our own government destroying evidence and hiding documents regarding the John F. Kennedy assassination in order to promote the lone gunman theory


The last two can be disputed but I listed them because cover-ups are some of the most notorious conspiracies since they cannot be proven

That still does not change what I posted. "The truth is based on actual facts. Conspiracies are based in lies." Where are links to the facts to support what you have posted?

A conspiracy is a type of plan made between people. No lying has to take place.

This is just another word that has been twisted into misuse just as the word notoriety is now thought to mean fame
