My understanding of how the company started was brewing with friends, I believe they sold the company to another brewery serval years back for millions but understand they have kept the ingredients the same. I have also made jail house wine out of grape juice, just add sugar and champagne yeast sset it in a dark area for about 4 weeks with an air lock. It tastes good and can get an abv of around 10%-14%, it was always a hit with the ladies. delishably.com

I grow grapes and have made wine out of them, I add a little bit of grits to the mash, I was taught that adding them will stop anyone from getting a headache. I haven't had anyone complain of a headache from my wine yet so maybe the grits work.

            Never tried wine.
Back when I was drinking beer I attempted to brew my own, with some success and some pretty piss poor batches.

When I was growing up my mom used to make pomegranate jelly every years. Many people in town had trees bur didn't want the pomegranates so would let my brother and I harvest their fruit. One year there was 3 gallons that she didn't use until months later. When she did, the house smelled like a brewery. Best tasting batch ever.
