Because it was another Democrat big money spending bill that will not Recover anything. As for funding for the police, police departments do not need one bid butt load of funding. They need to get dependable funding on an annual basis. I realize that with your limited brain function you don't remember Clinton's 1994 Crime Bill that provided funding for the hiring of 100,000 new police officers. By the end of 1996 most of those officers had been laid off because the local communities did not have the ongoing revenue source to continue to employ them.
