    Trudeau confiscating guns in Canada

Failing healthcare system. Seizing bank accounts of peaceful protestors. And now confiscating guns from law abiding citizens. Trudeau the dictator.

Canadian Province Refuses To Participate in Trudeau’s Federal Gun Confiscation

Alberta Justice Minister Tyler Shandro said his province will not participate in any attempts to seize firearms the federal government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has recently prohibited, including so-called “assault rifles.”

Justice Minister Shandro explained that he did not want to see the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Alberta go around confiscating firearms after claiming to have received a letter from the federal minister of public safety Marc Mendicino asking for resources to aid in confiscation efforts set to begin in the Autumn.

“Alberta taxpayers pay over $750 million per year for the RCMP and we will not tolerate taking officers off the streets in order to confiscate the property of law-abiding firearms owners,” Shandro said, the CBC reports.

The expected seizures of firearms originate from May of 2020 when the Trudeau government prohibited 1,500 different kinds of firearms from being either sold or used in Canada, all of which were supposed “assault-style firearms.”

As usual you post only part of the story. Here's the truth

In 2020, the Prime Minister announced the ban of over 1,500 models and variants of assault-style firearms. A buyback program will be introduced to offer fair compensation to affected owners and businesses.

Perhaps you noticed the phrase "buy back".

Buy back or else. Get confiscated. Now you know the rest of the story. Next.

Nothing misleading. Trudeau is confiscating guns in Canada. Which is the entire point of the article in which Alberta Justice Minister Tyler Shandro said his province will not participate in any attempts to seize firearms under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Hey, don't do me any favours. Whether you respond or not I'm still gonna call out your bullshit.
Your complete lack of knowledge is quite astounding. I still find it hard to believe that you, being the "great" businessman that you claim to be, didn't even know how tax brackets work.
I used to think you were just seeking attention and actually knew things, but now not so much.

A government can not "buy back" something that they never owned, and any funds being offered for the voluntary (for now, maybe) surrender of said object can only come from the tax payers themselves. So the people who are being "asked" to surrender (for now, maybe) their guns are going to be paid with their own taxes to give up something they already paid for, at a rate that the government sets since they get to decide what the value is (if they're illegal then they have no value, so they could claim that as the market value). You can bet that any compensation will be for a very basic version of the firearm in question as well, not a top of the line or customized version.

Will you please stop lying? How is your government gonna "buyback" something that they never owned?

We must have posted this at the same time. Thank you for pointing this out. However, copier addict isn't honest and will just lie about it.

Trudeau is making Canadians "an offer they can't refuse."

Accept his offer on guns or go to jail.

                      Sound familar?

Grandfathered status allows the possession and acquisition of prohibited firearms that are already registered in Canada, but not the new importation of prohibited firearms into Canada.

Yeah, they said that in NYC when they started the registration BS there. It turned into surrender or prove that you sold it out of state within 2 years (no compensation to surrender in that case). How long do you think Canada will wait to start taking those grandfathered guns? MY bet would be less than 2 years.

I guess it's a good thing that your "bets" aren't legally binding.

copier addict has been brainwashed and will never criticize his master - Trudeau. Both are fond of trannies and government control.

He wouldn't even criticize his master for wearing blackface.
