    Password manager

Hey folks, as title says do you know/use some kind of wallets aka password managers to keep securely and conveniently all your www passwords. With security being tremendously important everybody should think more about using stronger and unique passwords. Keeping them at one place and have to remember only master password will be great solution.

Most software "wallets" are loaded with PUP, Potentially Unwanted Programs, that many of the top name virus suites do not recognize.

What I use us a password protected spread sheet. One password to remember, easy to backup to a memory device and transfer to a new computer.

Thanks slim, currently I do the same as You but that also has some disadvantages like when used on multiple devices you have to remember to update that sheet when do new registration and root file is not with you.

Personally, I’m a big fan of KeePass.

Totally free, and it appears, at least so far, to be secure.

As a test, it copied a test KeePass database to a different PC that also had the app installed, and it did not open, which was exactly what I was hoping and expecting.

+1. Definetelly will be in my watch list as my friend already recomended it. Ken, do you use any Plugins and/or Extensions for KeePass?

And then there is the Firefox browser. It has built in ability to save login and password for all websites and you can set a master password that must be entered before it fills in login information on a website. It can also be set to show alerts for password breached websites. You can also use Sync to synchronize across multiple devices including Droid and iPhone. My spreadsheet is more a backup now and to save logins for shopping service apps.
