No, he didn't. Once again that is you. In last Tuesday's Congressional election Republicans got a total nationwide vote of 50,623,819 while Democrats only received 44,564,327, a 4.6% edge. Numbers are as of one week ago and according to the most recent article it is still a 4.5% advantage but actual number were not published. Many of the Republican wins were by landslides such as here in Herb County where Kevin vote by 35 points, 67.5% over 32.5%, where as most Democrats by less than 10% with many being as little as less than 4%.

It was only a short time ago that liberals wanted to move away from our electoral college and declare a winner by popular vote. How many times did we hear Hillary talk about she won the popular vote? You ate it up.

But she didn't win by the popular vote. To win by the popular vote requires win the majority of the votes, not a plurality. A majority requires at least 1 vote more than 50%. There were at least 4 other parties with candidate in most states, the Green Party, the Peace and Freedom Party, the Libertarian Party and the Constitution Party. The 2020 election was exactly the reason for the founders put what has come to be referred to as the 'electoral college" in the Constitution, more than 2 candidates with none of them receiving a majority of the vote. By the way, the term "electoral college" is not in the Constitution, only the procedure that they have to follow. The term was created by the media so they would have a term to use.
