But, according to Trump, businesses file for bankruptcy often, and it was a financially intelligent move. He added that “hundreds of companies” have done the same thing he did.

We had one here in Bakersfield years ago in the office equipment sales industry. Same owner had filed business bankruptcy 3 times. Each time he opened under a new name about 6 months later. I wonder if any of Trumps business bankruptcies were real-estate related to the 2008 real-estate market crash.
