I believe the dollar was the oil reserve currency of the world, but a lot of the countries are getting tired the the US and their bullshit. BRICS countries are ditching the dollar and are starting to use other forms of "real" money such as gold, silver, etc. The fiat debt note of the US is losing strength as our politicians keep on borrowing it from a private bank to cover the asses of the rich elites who get bailouts while the taxpayer gets stuck holding a bag of shit and more taxes. Basic economic lesson- the more of an item in the market, the less it has value.

Look at the trade balance line, its hard to end a trade deficit when your country does not make any goods to ship. Research NAFTA, who pushed it and how we the people were lied to.
