That's a personal choice. They chose not to buy health insurance and they chose not to take advantage of their nearest public health service. By law in the US no government ran health service can deny a person care merely they cannot pay for the service. It also applies to all hospital emergency rooms.

This thread is about Canada's healthcare system. And the fact is that you've lied thru your teeth. I've provided overwhelming evidence of your healthcare crisis. That includes testimony from the largest nurse and doctor groups in Canada. Yet, you continue to lie because that's what you do. All the while you accuse others of being dishonest.

America has the best healthcare of anywhere in the world if the person has insurance. If not, they receive subpar care. That's no secret. You're the only one that is lying.

And that is all because of the Affordable Care Act, known as Obama care. More people lost their insurance because the policies that they had before did not meet all the extraneous requirements of ACA. I know more people who lost their insurance because the replacement policy was going to be at least double what they had been paying than those who got coverage under ACA.

Canadians less satisfied in their access to health care than Americans: poll

15% of Canadians satisfied with access to care, while 29% of Americans satisfied with access, poll finds

erence Graham has been waiting anxiously for weeks to receive urgent CT scan results after experiencing "noticeable swelling" in the back of his head that gave him "blinding headaches."

The 55-year-old Canadian Forces veteran, who lives in Laird, Ont., about 40 kilometres southeast of Sault Ste. Marie, said he was checked out at the local emergency department on July 27. Not only did it take nearly three weeks to get the scan, he says he's since been unable to get the results.

The findings of a new Angus Reid Institute poll conducted in Canada and the U.S. in August suggest Canadians are significantly less satisfied with their access to health care than their American neighbours.

This is primarily about the Healthcare system in the UK but the Canadian is the same tax supported type of system.
'Our own analysis indicates that an estimated 300-500 patients are dying per week across the UK associated with long waiting times in emergency departments,' he said.
