The majority of Americans want mass deportation of illegals. Not only are they taking American jobs, they are driving up the cost of rent. Canada knows how that works all too well.

Over 10 million illegals have invaded the USA under Uncle Joe. The majority of jobs created in that time have gone to illegals. The reason these illegals are taking these jobs is because they work for lower wages than Americans. So not only are illegals driving up the cost of rent, they're also driving wages down for Americans.
