No, I did indeed prove that you are confused. Your only rational for addressing a person as the opposite sex is because "you're not an asshole". Moreover, you stated that one doesn't need to believe that a man is a woman in order to address them by their desired gender. But you refuse to apply the same logic when I ask you to address me as an African American. You don't have to believe that I'm black to address me by my desire race. Right?
