New polling shows a strong majority of Americans support abortion limits and pregnancy resource centers as the fifty-first annual March for Life in Washington, DC, approaches.


The Knights of Columbus-Marist poll, released on Wednesday, found that when Americans are given the option between having some limits or no limits on abortion, 66 percent of Americans choose to have limits. Eighty-three percent also support or strongly support pregnancy resource centers, which the survey described as “places that do not perform abortions but instead offer support to people during their pregnancy and after the baby is born.”

I would say that preventing half the population from controlling their own bodies is quite enough. That's a big one.

I would say that preventing half the population from controlling their own bodies is quite enough. That's a big one.

The old abortion laws told women what they could do with their bodies and you supported it. You and I are simpatico on this issue.

You need to understand that you're an advocate for telling a woman what she can do with her body.
Any limit on abortion is effectively doing just that.

There's no country in the free world that doesn't have limits.
That's because there's another life that must be protected and that's the unborn child.

Clearly our positions are different but we both support telling what they can do with their bodies via restrictions. You need to admit that.
