I like everything from Hard Rock & Metal to Motown. I can even listen to some country and Hip Hop.

        How 'bout you, Hans?

              WOW, great!

Looks like you would need a nuclear power plant to drive that all, lol

I didn't show all of it. On the bottom shelve are 2 Emotiva Power Amps. The bigger one is driving the 2 main speakers and the center channel. And the other is driving two of the Atoms speakers in the ceiling. There are a total of 11-speakers. Most of those are surround sound for movies. When listening to music, I only use the 2 main speakers and the subs. I also didn't show the 2nd subwoofer.

I'm not sure how much power is being used. I do know it's on a 60-amp circuit.

This is one of those things I got hooked on as a teenager but could never afford. As we get older we can afford it but I wouldn't recommend it. It's a foolish investment if you think about it.

There are levels to this stuff. I've seen $2-million theater rooms on YouTube. It gets ridiculous.

Audio systems are what got me into electronics. Specifically, car audio. I taught myself to install car radios, amps, equalizers and before long I was installing systems for my friends. That eventually lead to me going to electronics school. But the passion that I had for audio systems never waned.

The downside to this hobby is that it gets in your blood and no matter how good my system may sound, I always think I need to upgrade to something better. I can never find satisfaction. It's a sickness.
