What's your opinion on misinformation?


Who decides what is disinformation?

If the goal is to get rid of disinformation, we're gonna need to censor every politician in the country because they all lie. Constantly.

Biden has said that the border is secure. Just to name one example.

There's this thing called Free Speech and telling lies is protected. It's up to every individual to find the truth. Don't be lazy.

My main point in this thread is censorship. Everyone knows that Biden lied when he said the border is secure. Do I want that statement censored on twitter or in the legacy media? Nope. We should let the misinformation remain and debate it openly.

Liberals believe that we need protected from lies and that we're too dumb to make informed decisions. Or they just want to control information.

True Dat. It was never more clear than during covid. There was enough false information from everywhere but a lot of it came from our government. It was ridiculous. Wear one mask...wear two. On and on....
