Konica Minolta Rules of Engagement !!!!!

Well that's a joke, K-M are going into our happy customers and undercutting our quotes and doing rediculous CPC ! 3.43p for C5501 colour on single click A3 ? How are the dealers ever going to survive ?
My understanding is if our customers are happy with the service provided then K-M should walk away from the deal. I hope K-M direct discover the huge losses to their revenue is caused soley by their sales force.
    May they choke.

Yep, watch your back. In my state, a large dealer in Charlotte was bought by Sharp. They of course dropped all other brands. To compensate, KM went to a dealer in my town who is throughout three states, and had an office in that city, and signed them on as a KM dealer. We sold Minolta and added Lanier a few years ago. A different dealer in town sold Konica and Lanier. When the two merged, we both sell the same thing. The larger dealership sold Ricoh and Panasonic and now Konica Minolta. This large dealership has offices in many cities that had dealerships that sold nothing but KM forever. They stabbed em in the back. Meanwhile, Ricoh is pissed that one of thier largest dealerships in this reigon, took on another brand and as a result we get all of the Ricoh warrenty work for this area now. So in this town, the three biggest dealers sell the same thing. We have not had them, KM, steal a deal yet, but it has happened in other cities.

You know, I'd probably have more sympathy if I hadn't seen the dealers do the exact same thing. In this economy, it's every sales guy for himself.
