I didn't knew about that situation until you mentioned it. I googled for it and really I don't see anything wrong about how Obama chose to comment the situation. Stupidly is such a bad word that the president can't use it? I really don't think so - but then again I'm not in the US nor am I american, so...
Also, I can't find the relation between the joke above and this story. If someone would be so kind as to explain it to me...
