I will start it with a old Sharp SF-7320 at a school, last seen just before school ended this year, in May.
A lot of those desktop models do seem to last a long time don't they. I work on a guys canon np1020.

There's some really cool copier commercials from the 80's and earlier on youtube. I didn't know some of the desktop canons had single color cartridges back then. That would be neat. Today I'll copy in blue, tomorrow in red...

This is SOOOO true and true about them getting as donations. The funny thing is though that sometimes you can't even practically give stuff away to them. Years ago we had machines and tons of paper to either give away or at cost. No takers!

Good luck trying to sell anything to some of them even at a discount or cost. Even in the "house(s) of the lord," do political favors and business going to friends of pastors and deacons run a-muck. Kind of makes me sick because they're usually overpaying and wasting donated money that could be used for better purposes.

Now-a-days we don't bother too much unless someone specifically asks us for donations.

                I vaguely remember those days.

Canon had a few desktops and larger (up to 50 ppm) machines where you could put in a brown, blue, or red cartridge or developing assembly.

While never an issue for the cartridge models, it was always a hoot when people would add the wrong color toner into a developer assembly, then act like it was our fault that they did it.

I think the oldest machines I service are the Konica's 1015 and 1212 and their Ricoh equivalents (age-wise).

Ricoh NP7650 (circa 1994) LOL. There is a hospital that still uses them in my territory - I am out there at least every 2 weeks for neverending randomness.
