As for the ones who work on these, we all know communication with all accessories has to be on point. I don't understand this one, but it works!

I have Pro1356's SN ending 016 and 002
I also have the first PerfectBinder Ricoh placed in a customer location, but the SN is already in the hundreds.

I don't remember the actual serial number, (toooo long ago!), but I once had a Canon NP7550 sorter (not finisher) that was a prototype which accidentally made it into the wild.

I found that out when I ordered a controller board for it, and a number of the connectors didn't match.
