    Colour CDs and DVDs?

I was in a print shop that produces large format prints on HP,Xerox,Kipp,
Oce plus one or two that I cannot remember.
They received the data over the internet, made the prints,
saved the data to a CD.
They then put all pertinant information from this job (label) onto a
CD, and DVD using a strange lookoing bubble jet
printer, that printed with solvent base ink.
I cannot find any thing on this machine that I hope is not
a dream. And I have never been back to that print shop!
Sounds easy, but there are some complecations.

    TIA
    Robert

There are an assortment of these things available.

CD Printer, DVD Printer, CD Printers, CD DVD Printer, Disc Printer, DVD Printers - SuperMediaStore.com

Some are better than others, and of course, depending on the disk manufacturer, some of those are better than others. For example, the disks with matt surface instead of glossy...depends on the manufacturer and ink used.
