Fuckin excuse me????? All these years I have been out of control of my toothbrush because I didn't have a damn hole in the handle? Lord Thunderin Jeezuz Boyz, I bin don it wrong fer years aye!

Just how fucking stupid does the company think us consumers are?

And of course, while looking up a link to show this miraculous contraption with the hole that will revolutionize tooth brushes as we know em, I find this....

    Mums Say Reach

And judging from the responses on that page by some consumers, the company doesn't think this, they KNOW THIS, and present us with a gimmick to gain those stupid enough to "buy" the hole claim as a better control of the brush kind of thing.

No wonder I want to disassociate myself from the masses out there.

I was packing the dishwasher in the kitchen last night, when I heard a commercial running on the TV about a 'new' toothbrush. Looked up and over towards the TV and wouldn't ya know it....... there it was.....The new Reach Total Care toothbrush with a hole in the middle of the handle! Couldn't believe it! First thing I thought of was this you guys and this post!
Previously I had never heard of something so stupid, and thought surely that ridiculous invention wouldn't be tested on the Australian public..... then all of a sudden... there it was... in all its mighty glory..... A toothbrush with a hole it in. Damn!

And I am willing to bet you were floored by the little known fact that you had no control over your existing tooth brush huh?

This one ranks right up there with all those Ronco products. What the hell did we do before these inventions came along?

I did think of you guys, then went back to packing the dishwasher....... After the commercial was over, I did have a small chuckle to myself, to which my Canadian wife asked me what was up.... only to find out that this toothbrush had been available there for ages.

We're abit behind down here, with all this unreal technology of new toothbrushes.

Its not like I'm going to rush out and buy the damn thing, but the idea of better control is appealing................

OK, but where are you guys at in shaving technology. I think we have razors now that have 10 or 15 blades for that extra, extra, extra smooth shave.

I think razors with headlights should be next.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

Yep, got that stuff. I even saw one of the Gillette razors have now got batteries in the handle to vibrate the razor blade head for a smoother shave.

Man.... thats genius!! That guy deserves a medal.

As if I'm going to fall for that one.

That Gillette Mach 5, 10 bladed razor could use a hole in the handle. For errrrr.... Better Control, and so I can hang it on a nail, next to my modern handle-hole toothbrush.

Why not, we have sonic razors. Adding that little light, even a lazer light, is a much needed accessory.

Man, if I get those, what will I do with my fancy little toothbrush/razor holder that I have for the old style brush and razor? And if I get rid of that and go to the nail in the wall technology, where will I put my toothpaste? I have yet to see any model of toothpast tube come with a hole in the middle for greater control while I sqeeze it for a drop of paste. Man, I could really use a tube like that too, considering how much paste I waste.

Here is a tip that will do that. If you dry the blade off after using it, I wipe mine with a towel and blow it off. I have had blades last up to 10 months, the secret is to keep it dry when not in use. It really works.

for me doing that helps a little, I can maybe get two weeks then it starting getting tough. when I first went to the multiblades they were great and could use them easly for a month. if I can ever find my double edge safty razor, got to be in the house somewhere as wife says I never throw any thing away ( but she might have )

Why do they put the lubricating strip behind the blade?
Surely it would be smarter to put some slip on your skin before the blade gets there not after its passed.

Hold your tooth brush at a diferent angle to clean your back teeth? Sounds like an Ad Man is in line for a Sybil award for pointing out the bleeding obvious!!
