    Hey, it is labor day

    A holiday to celebrate the worker. I celebrated by getting my unemployed 18 year old out of bed this morning and making him clean out the garage. Good times, good times!

      You go boy , i Had to try and get some brains into my 18 year old last night cause he is busy with high school exams. I wish it can get it over and done with cause am done stressing about this already.

              Over here, the labour day is celebrated on the 1st of May.

                      In addition to being a paid holiday from work, it is supposed to be the end of summer and the vacation season.

                                      Our labour day is in March. Our next day-off is Melbourne Cup in November.

                                          Our last "bank hoilday" was August 30th our next is Dec 27th, Christmas day does not count as it is on a Saturday this year.

                                                      I didn't know it was a holiday till I moved away from home. My dad thought it was named that because it was a day to labor. So we did.
                                                      I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.
