Had a machine where the only problem(s) were caused by the extreme buildup of dead roaches. (and some not so dead ones)

Condom, though fortunately still in the wrapper.

Silver chain shorting the transfer / sep wires.

"Unidentified Substance" congealed on the glass.

"Identified Substance" stuck in the ADF. (Dude, quit picking your nose when you use the copier)

Another tech told me how he pulled a copy of someone's posterior out of an old moving platen machine with broken exposure glass. (OUCH - bad place for a sliver)

Broom handle through the OpPanel. (Dude, I tripped...)

I found a 7 inch single still in its sleeve sticking half way out of the fuser unit on a Sharp SF750 about 20 years ago.

Hope this doesn't hurt your feelings but I just googled "7 inch single" (and yes I had safe search turned ON.) I get it now, that's pretty horrible LOL.

I can't top that I did find a peanut once.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

I googled it and it came up with the old records...I'm guessing that's not it.

I believe that is it! I just was imagining what you would get if you had safe search off LOL

It didn't occur to me to clarify what a 7inch single was sorry, in these days of MP3s and Blu-Rays it's easy to forget that not everyone is old enough to remember 7inch singles. Just to clarify, it was a vinyl record, 7inch single size ans still in its sleeve, sadly I can't remember who the artist was, it was some unknown from the 1960s who i'm glad to say was even before my time at the ripe old age of 41.

I want to know what they were trying to do, and what were they thinking.

It's obvious. They were trying to illegally copy music.

They had the bigger records when I was a kid. I even used one of those tape players where you put the audio film rolls (two of them) on the machine and fed the tape though the reader device...got that from my grandfather.

Yeah, I thought "7 inch single" meant something COMPLETELY different, but I won't go there.

Years ago (on a Savin 5015) I had random shadows across the copies...I found mouse droppings in the optics. The little guy was scurrying around the optics during the copy process and blocking the light. Interesting effect!
