    Visiting New Orleans

My wife and I will be spending 4-5 days in New Orleans, LA in March/April. I'm looking for any suggestions on what not to miss and what to avoid.
    Thanks in advance...

Don't miss all the great cities and beaches in TX, LA, MS, AL, and FL.

What to avoid ? NEW ORLEANS

Sorry, just a personal opinion....last time down there, not impressed at all, was much better years ago.

Thanks for the offer Warren, but this trip is for the wife's birthday celebration (her choice). I'd love to see Australia, but I don't fly, so it would have to be on a cruise.

I don't fly either, but they have these amazing machines called air planes...nice ride, drinks and food, warm...beats flapping the arms and suffering the bad weather enroute.

It would be a bloody long cruise........ its a 15 hour flight alone from Sydney to LA. Going by boat would be quite the adventure. Should takle that one on the jetski oneday......not.
