Naa,this seems like a pretty fair site. Not like Smarka where everything gets moderated and deleted and banned

I'm not from the U.S but that sounds a whole lot like the kind of crap we've been getting over here for what seems like at least the last decade.

It seems like every few weeks there's another declaration about what foods give you cancer and/or shorten your lifespan.

The government slaps ridiculous amount of tax on vehicle fuel (for the environment) alcohol (to curb binge drinking) and tobacco. And now there's even talk that the NHS will refuse to give you treatment if you are obese, a smoker or a heavy drinker because then your health issues are your own fault.

Now we (unlike you folks in the US) have tax-funded socialised medicine, that means that even if you are a 300lbs, 40 a day smoking binge drinker, as long as you have paid tax in some form (virtually unavoidable) you have paid into the pot that the NHS is funded from, so what right do they have to deny you treatment?

The so called "Health and Safety" culture has really taken off in most workplaces. The irony is that despite the fact that it's dressed up as "concern for employee wellbeing" all it essentially is is "we don't want to give you even the tiniest excuse to sue us, therefore we are going to go to the nth degree to make sure you can't". Companies don't give a shit about employee welfare, you only have to go back a hundred years to the cotton mills and mines in England to see that completely unregulated and without the threat of legal repercussions, companies wouldn't even bother with machine guards and would actually seek recompense from your surviving relatives for production downtime if you were dragged into and eviscerated by cotton spinning machinery.

Clealry there should be effective laws in place to make sure that companies are not negligent, but a line has to be drawn somewhere where it becomes your own damn fault for being an idiot. Life is full of lessons, some of which are harsh and painful, the stupider you are and the less common sense you apply to stuff, the more harsh and painful lessons you will recieve.... and has been thus since the first animal life appeared on earth.
