    Is he dead??

What do you guys reckon? bin Laden dead or not? I have researched a fair bit of military media in my time and one thing I have noticed that it is mostly a load of shit.
    So here goes....
Things that just don't add up
    1. Black Hawk choppers don't 'JUST STALL" next to an enemy compound.
    2. First report was he was shot in the head while using a woman as a shield, followed by a statement from his daughter they captured him alive and then shot him.
    3. Why would the most wanted man in the world be hiding in a mansion without bunkers or escape tunnels?
    4. Why would military honor any terrorists religious beliefs?
    5. Sea burial which shows what could be anything wrapped in a blanket.
    6. And finally, for now, Obama won't release the photo of the man with a hole in his head. Shit I can Google autopsy pics of JFK.

So anyway, don't wanna start shit here, just wanna know what the rest of the world is feeling.

I think you are trying to start shit. I have worked on an army airfield for over a decade and my father was a pilot. Yes, that helicopter can stall and fall from the sky. So say the people who work on them in the hanger I was in yesterday. That is why these hangers are always full of Blackhawks being worked on. It is because they can break without being shot at. All of your other issues have been covered over and over. If you bury him at sea there is no shrine. No photos and the religious stuff was an intelligent decision to keep harm from coming to Americans who live in other parts of the world. It seems selfish for people over here to demand things to satisfy their curiousness, that can cause crazy people to go the extra mile to harm Americans because of it, when we all know that for a certain part of the country who see conspiracy everywhere, bringing the body back would not satisfy them unless it was done by someone they voted for. I am one of those nuts who believe we went to the moon also. This link says it all.

I absolutely believe he is dead. Whether or not he died in a firefight, or was using a woman as a human shield and then shot, or was captured and then shot doesn't matter to me - just that he got smoked.
If the conspiracy theory that he was captured and is still alive is actually true, I hope they are waterboarding him 24/7. I would rather this be the case, but as I said, I believe he's dead. And I'm sure he died a coward's death.
As for living in a mansion - the place looked like a crack house. No armed guards or bunkers? Remember that he had been there for several years, down the street from a police station, in a small city with a large military prescence and I'm sure he felt quite safe. I'm sure the Pakistan gov't was playing both sides - they knew he was there and were pocketing the $2 billion we were giving them in aid for the past several years. That's the only conspiracy theory I'm buying into.
      He's dead, dead, dead.

If it was a hoax, he would have already come out with another video... the dude is dead.

Back to the subject in hand, I do sincerely hope the smegger has bitten the bullet. Serious issues need to be raised with our friends in Pakistan tho.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

I've heard that one Blackhawk could not take off when they left. So they left it there and had it bombed/destroyed. I think Bin Laden must have had some protection from the Pakistani's (ISI) to be able to live there for more than 5 years. Anyway, I believe he's dead now. Maybe the photo's of his body are too horrible to be shown on TV. Maybe it's not just a hole in his head, maybe he doesn't have a head anymore... You don't want to mess with Navy SEALS.

You should read the Bloomberg Businessweek article from today. It doesn't matter if he is dead or not. I found it interesting, sorry I don't have the link handy, and for my 2 cents I think he is!!!!

              Have a great day.

Conflicting reports of HOW he died doesn't mean he DIDN't die. The guy is dead, and it doesn't matter who said what regarding how he die. The Obama administration is smart enough to know that he that had lied about his death he would eventually make another video. There's no doubt in my mind that the people behind this mission took into consideration the outcome if they had lied about his death.

                3. Why would the most wanted man in the world be hiding in a mansion without bunkers or escape tunnels?
Well, he did have money sown into his clothing, which suggests he is prepared to run at any time; also 12 ft walls are pretty high. He might've got a bit too comfortable in the last 8 years of being on the run and let his guard down.

                4. Why would military honor any terrorists religious beliefs?
To show respect to Islam and its followers, as well as bin Laden's followers. Granted he in no way deserves our respect but how will that look in the eyes of his followers if he just burn him, bury him, whatever without any way of honoring his religious beliefs. That wont sit well. Granted his death is already not sitting well with his followers but if the US had not given him any sort of ceremony it would probably cause an even bigger backlash. It's not that he deserves any of that but the US doesn't want to come across as disrepecting the beliefs and practices of Islam, a faith that he follows.

America doesn't want to come off as an enemy to Islam, and America doesn't want to come off as Anti-Islam which is why, despite this guy being a complete douchebag, it was necessary for us to respect their religious beliefs.

                6. And finally, for now, Obama won't release the photo of the man with a hole in his head. Shit I can Google autopsy pics of JFK.
Yeah, you can google JFK's death photos, but if the US were to publish pictures the terrorists would probably see it as us dangling the carrot, kind of like us saying, "hey, look what we did!" It would defintily stir up some kind of raw emotion among the terrorists even moreso than it has already and publishing a photo of the worlds most wanted man, and the leader of a terrorist organization that has thousands of members, dead who probably take it the US being spiteful and vindictive.

The main goal all along was the capture him, and how the military has. Closure has been sought - bin Laden is dead. Al quida remains operation but there is no sense in doing anything that would invite them to attack us again.

Yes please come over. There is plenty of badass stuff to see. Since they shot him, a lot tougher to move around out here. If you like firepower, you haven't lived til you have seen the Special Warfare weapons complex. And the 18th Fires Bdg, has some massive artillery. Ever seen a vertical wind tunnel. A round building about 50 feet in diameter and 60 feet tall with giant fans blowing upward. That is how they practice advanced parachute moves. You jump in the middle of it and the wind force blows you up holding you about 6 to 8 feet in the air like you are freefalling through the sky. We have one off base civilians can use , for a fee.

To hell with the pictures, they were watching it on video in real time. I would like to see that. I seem to remember watching Saddam being hanged and seeing pictures after he was dead. Not to mention the pictures of his two sons all bloated and blown to hell. Show us something. As for not releasing photos, its a political play. We wouldn't want to piss of the Muslims. A cartoonist drew a picture of Allah a few years back and they were rioting in the streets and calling for his death.
Personally, I would have taken his corpse on a 50 state tour or strung it up in times square, but thats just me.

After being shot with a high velocity military round, there probably wasn't much left of his head.

Ding Dong the douchebag's dead. I would have let the families of the survivors parade his body through ground zero for 8 hours with no police security. That would be a photo.

I think many of you missed my point. My dig is about what we as public get told. What I don't get is how can there be so many inconsistencies.

@fixthecopier. Your comment contradicts the point i think you are trying to get across. Your father having once been a pilot has nothing to do with what the military media reports us. What if the Loose Change documentary is right? What if OBL is just a scapegoat for the 9/11? What if the US government just told OBL "We need to kill you, so take this money, get rid of that beard of yours and disappear. We'll fake your death and you won't show up again". That makes sense, doesn't it?

All helicopters that fail on a mission...started at the beginning of the mission. If we were able to predict what would fail, we would not fly those, and there would never be a crash. Those helicopters flew a long way, and they were prepared in case of a failure, that is why no one was left behind. I was not picking a fight, but using an equipment failure to say something is fishy is really stretching it. Have you ever worked on a copier that was recently sold? I am sure it worked when you sold it. It just seems that the fact that the president did his job and a certain segment of our society is so livid that their man did not get credit for it that they are grasping for any little straw of conspiracy to cast doubt.

If you could explain your logic as to how crashing a top secret helicopter is part of a conspiracy, we will be happy to listen. I just don't get it.

As for believing what I am told, well when the evidence is overwhelming, yes I have a brain and I use it once in a while. Some of the folks I work for do hundreds of missions like that every year on targets you never heard of and neither have I. I have no knowledge of these missions, who they involve or when they happen. I never see proof, pictures or any other evidence. Do I believe they happen? You bet I do. That is why they are called "The Quiet Professionals"

I am not picking a fight, I am just not one of those people who has to wake up every day and turn on Fox to see what I am supposed to be afraid of today. It seems that all you need to start something is to say I do not understand it, therefore it must be wrong. With our education system failing there will be a lot more things that people do not understand in the future.

It brings to mind a segment I saw showing Sara Palin being interviewed and talking about how she would cut funding fo research on fruit fly that lives in the Amazon and use the money to study cures for her baby's autism or whatever her child has been afflicted with , I am not sure. The punchline was that the study of that insect has brought forth 80 % of the scientific advancements in treating what her child has. So she said she would cut off funding of her child's disorder so she could use the money to study her child's disorder. Stuff like that hurts my head. She said it because the average person would think it was a waste of money to study abug, so she and her followers could think the same way and bond.

Back to the subject at hand, what does the helicopter crashing have to do with a conspiracy and if the answer is nothing, why bring it up?
